WPGU 107.1 FM is a student-run radio station located at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, broadcasting alternative music and other programming to listeners in Champaign-Urbana and surrounding communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

WPGU is operated by students who are studying communications or related fields, with assistance from professional staff members. WPGU has been on air since 1975; they celebrated 40 years of service in 2015! WPGU operates under the WPGU Broadcasting Club.

WFUZZ has been a successful student-run online radio station broadcasting 24/hrs nonstop from WPGU Studio.

WPGU was originally broadcast on 91.FM (91 FM) in 1975 until 1988 when WMBD donated the frequency to Bradley University where it became Radio BU for decades before becoming defunct in 2010 because of low advertising revenue and lack of resources.
