Best 104 FM is a private radio station in Malaysia kormisel second and the first private radio stationed outside Kuala Lumpur, namely in Pasir Pelangi, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The slogan is “Southern Sensation”. It started its transmission in 1988 as a major station for standardizing taste hear the Sultan of Johor. It used to be broadcast in Malay and English, but fierce competition with other private stations broadcast in English forced to prioritize the Malay listeners. Privatization began when it enlarges the original broadcast abroad Johor and throughout the 24-hour broadcast beginning in 1996. In the past, Top 104 is one of the more popular bilingual stations with listeners in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, the capital; hard competition with English listeners saw the station shut down English release in 2001. Music of Malaysia is the generic term for music that has been created in various genres in Malaysia. A great variety of genres in Malaysian music reflect the specific ethnic groups of multiracial Malaysian society consisting of Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Dayak, Kadazandusun, Eurasians and other groups.
