Radio Stephansdom is a one of the most famous online radio station on the Austria. Radio Stephansdom is a classical music station of the Archdiocese of Vienna. The studios are located in the Singerstrasse near the St. Stephen’s Cathedral . It broadcasts on the transmitter on the Danube Tower . About the antenna transmitter can be heard on the frequency of 107.3 MHz. To receive is Radio Stephansdom in Vienna and the surrounding area and in the southern Lower Austria . From 1 June 2015, the radio in radio classical St. Stephen was renamed.
The station plays only classical music and is in the word share for its news magazines 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. known. From other broadcasters with religious orientation such as Radio Maria to Radio Stephansdom differs in that it does not spread very conservative worldview or “missionary efforts” undertakes. The stations include mottos as “The oasis for the soul”, “Classic with meaning”, “Classic committed” and from 1 June 2015 “turn feelings”.
