92 ZEW one of the most famous online radio station on Alabama. it plays popular artists’ music with various music genres like hits, pops, variety around the clock 24 hours live online. its is the official radio station for the Country Crimson Tide in lower Alabama, broadcasting games & Hey Coach with Eli Gold.
The FM is a locally programmed “Adult Album Alternative” (Triple-A) format and has been for more than 30 years. It is now the only locally-owned FM music station in Mobile. The music reflects life on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Some of the artists you hear on ZEW include Bob Marley, The Black Keys, Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, R.E.M., U2, John Hiatt, Depeche Mode, Pearl Jam, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Mumford & Sons, Imagine Dragons, along with regional favourites like North Mississippi Allstars, Trombone Shorty, Galactic, Dr John and more.
The station was launched as an AOR format in 1983 with Catt Siren as program director and evolved into Adult Album Alternative (adult rock) format in 1984. The station launched with 8,000 watts and was upgraded to 25,000 watts after it was purchased by dotcominc.
