This past weekend, I went to the WBZ-FM Radio Boston City to listen to what 98.5 the Sports Hub had to say. The very first thing that struck me was how many people enjoy listening to sports radio. I have relatives who live in Florida and regularly tune into the Sports Hub to keep up with the various sports teams and players, often resulting in a round-robin style of radio coverage in which the entire hour is dedicated to sports. I was also struck by how friendly the people on the sports radio station are. There is no patronization of any sort, genuine interest, and support for the various teams and players. You can tell you are talking to a real person when he or she will intently repeat things that you might have heard hundreds of times before.
I hope that this experience has helped to convince you that sports radio in Boston City is a genuine entity that you can trust, regardless of whether you live in the area or not. I have enjoyed numerous sports radio shows hosted by personalities like Jumbos, Howard Stern, Curt Menefee, and Mike Frances. The Sports Hub in Boston is consistently excellent in its presentation of information and its reporting of events.
